Hey TOKIANs, how’s everything going?
It’s hard to believe it’s already been over a month since the beta mainnet launch—time really flies!
Thanks to your continued contributions, our app metrics are showing a strong uptrend. Even though we’ve prioritized quality over quantity, the growth signals are clearer and encouraging than expected.
We believe this momentum reflects growing market confidence in TOKI’s vision: The Internet of Blockchains, from single-sided pools and multi-prover verification, seamless IBC integration, to partnerships with institutions—and most importantly, this amazing community—you’re all part of what’s driving this forward. Let’s keep going for the $10M milestone together!
Speaking of which, as April marks IBC’s 4th birthday 🎉, I’d like to take this opportunity to share a bit about our journey with IBC so far in this month’s letter.
April 2, 2021—this was more than just a date. It was the moment the first-ever IBC transaction was confirmed on-chain.
A spark was lit!

This wasn’t just the launch of a protocol. It was the birth of an innovation:
What if dapps and blockchains could truly talk to each other—securely, openly, and efficiently?
And for us, this vision started even before that moment. Take a look👇
In the early days of IBC—before the spec was finalized, before Cosmos Hub even enabled it—we were already exploring what IBC could become.
Our team at Datachain, now the core developers of TOKI, began experimenting with light clients for Hyperledger Fabric, laying the foundation for IBC to reach beyond Cosmos and into enterprise systems.
We weren’t just watching IBC unfold—we were building alongside it.
